To celebrate the end of the first decade of century 21, and because Mateo is getting married, and because Lou Gehrig's Disease is still without a cure, we are kicking off 2009's summer with another 50,000 pushups. From May to July the trifecta of Mateo Mead, Justin Wright and Denis Blount will throw down 16,667 pushups each. Please help us out. Push yourself up and get the word out. Some History:
Between November 1st and December 31st of 2006, the stalwart duo of Magic Marker Karate Co. (Mateo Mead and Kevin Collier) and Madcap Freelance (Douglas Weibel) embarked on an immense physical task.

We three men completed FIFTY THOUSAND PUSH-UPS. To most, it seemed impossible. For most, it would be. But to the gentlefolk of the Grey Till, it was just exercise. With that kind of mentality and more donations needed to find a cure for ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease), we're at it again.

How You Can Help:
1. Start pushing up and wherever you are and make a big deal out of it.
2. Ask friends and family and strangers to donate per pushup or per their discretion to research a cure for ALS.
3. Direct them to: www.projectals.org.
4. Tell them to click DONATE NOW. Credit cards, checks, and Pay Pal are all accepted. If they write a check, please put "Thousands of Push-Ups" on the Memo line. If they use Pay Pal, please type the same in the "Payment For" field.
